Prayer Plant (Maranta) is a perfect pet plant for you. Prayer plant gets its name from the nyctinastic movement of leaves in response to light, specially at night the leaves fold in and look like hands raised in prayer. If you make a time lapse of a Maranta, you'll see the leaves dancing. But what makes Maranta a favorite of most plant parents is its multicolor foliage and velvety leaves with striking red stripes. From indoor plants, prayer plants are easy to care for and grow well even in low light conditions.

Detailed Care Guide
Light: Light levels are generally low. The plant can thrive in medium indirect light or partial shade.
Water: Water once per two weeks. Check the top layer of soil before watering, if it’s dry then water it.
Pet-friendly: The plant is pet-friendly.
Humidity: The plant prefers high humidity about 70%. Mist the leaves daily. If this sounds like alot of work then use a humidifier or place the palnt in a shallow tray filled with water and pebbles.
Temperature: The plant thrives in 60℉-80℉.
Fertilizer: Feed the plant after every two weeks in the growing season for excellent growth. Use a liquid balanced ratio fertilizer diluted to half strength.
Repotting: Repot only in Spring or Summer season. Choose a pot 2 inches larger than the original. When repotted, water it generously to allow the soil to settle around the roots. Use a peat based potting mix.
Curling Of Leaves: Leaves of Maranta curl if it is receiving direct cold or warm air. Change the location of the plant. Provide a humid environment by using a humidifier or place the plant in a shallow tray of water and pebbles and make sure the plant pot is sitting on the pebbles and not dipped in water.

Express Shipping - AED 35:
Orders with express shipping will ship within 1-2 business days and have shipping charges of AED 35. One charge covers your entire order, regardless of how many items.
You can also have your package delivered on a specific day through express shipping at a cost of AED 35.
Plants and pots are fragile, and occasional damages are inevitable despite our efforts. If your order arrived damaged, let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org within 15 days so we can replace it as part of our 15-Day Customer Happiness Guarantee. Photos are required as proof of damage and to help us improve our packaging process. Otherwise, we cannot offer returns or exchanges at this time. If your damaged plant or pot is no longer in stock, we will refund you or offer a replacement. Due to the fragile nature of the plant, some imperfections are inevitable and can be caused by transport and handling.
Tip: Sometimes plants just need a little TLC after being in transit. One of our plant care experts may coach you through how to overcome something cosmetic, such as bent leaves.
